Pinestead Farm has the following varieties of tomato plants for sale:
Sungold – Orange cherry tomato
Sweet 100 – Red cherry tomato
Beefsteak – 8-12 ounces, highly prolific indeterminate. Will set fruit even in cool weather. Excellent tomato flavor.
Brandywine – Possibly the most popular variety of heirloom tomato, intense tomato flavor, is comparable in size to a beefsteak tomato. Not highly acidic. Ideal for just eating fresh or in an heirloom tomato salad. Prone to cracking.
All tomatoes have only been fertilized with Neptune’s organic seaweed fertilizer.
Tomato plants can be picked up at our farm stand beginning this Saturday (May 20). Please indicate which day you intend to pick up so we can have your order ready for you. The “Calculate Shipping” tool in the shopping cart will enable a display of available pickup dates.
